Higher Learning Diploma (HLD) in Research Skills
This high-level program is for those who wish to work as social researchers in a variety of settings, eg public sector, private sector, or operate as independent researchers. The diploma will also appeal to those who aspire to be consultants.
The program offers an advanced understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies as well as the ethics of research. With the practical courses on the Skills of Professional Researchers, participants will be equipped with the necessary organizational skills to help them start in a diversity of work environments or further research.
The significant research project is an opportunity to apply the learning throughout the program. This is a very advanced research skills program and only applicants with prior research experience or training at undergraduate or postgraduate level will be admitted.
Program Length: 1 Year
Assessment : includes a combination of coursework, in-class tests, and a major research project.
Duration of each course : 1 year

Requirements
- An undergraduate degree (with research methods and minimum Overall A-Grade) in any discipline and 3 years of experience OR a Masters' Degree in any discipline with 1 year's experience.
